Bible Verse of the Day - 08/12/11

John 14 : 6

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  New International Version (NIV)

Back in the early summer i was reading a book called "Just Walk Across The Room" written by an American guy called Bill Hybels. It is an amazing book and would thoroughly recommend it!! It's all about simple steps to point people to faith. 

There is a section in it which describes what Jesus did for us.

Before Sin entered the world, everything was perfect. Adam&Eve were living in harmony with God and nothing went wrong. But in Genesis 3 : 6, sin entered the world. This destroyed the relationship humans had with God. There was a separation between us.

But because Jesus died for us, he took away our sins! Ephesians 1 : 7 says this: "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace." NIV. Because of Jesus our sins are forgiven. He washed our crimson stain and made us pure as snow. He is the bridge between Man and God! Because of him, we can be with God :)!
